Answers:

Q: How do I register as a user?
A:

1. Click the "Register" link.
2. Complete the user detail form (Username & Password is case sensitive).
3. Click the "Register" button.
(You will be sent an E-mail message with instructions for activating your account.
4. Click the link in your E-mail message to confirm and activate your account.

(You must confirm your account in order to activate it.)

Q: How do I login?
A:
  1. Click the "Login" link.
  2. Enter your Username and Password. (Must be a registered user) 
  3. Click the "Login" button. 
  4. You will then be taken to the User Control Panel. It is from here that you will have access to use the features of the website. Once you leave the User Control Panel and go to another part of our site, you do not have to go through the login process again to return to the User Control Panel. Simply click the "Login" link and it will automatically take you back into the User Control Panel.
  5. If this is your first visit, take a few minutes to review our userguide

Q: Why doesn't my password work?
A:

There could be a few different issues that may be the reason.

  • If you used any capitals or spaces in your password that may be the reason why.
  • It is possible you may not have registered completely. Review "How do I register as a user?" 
  • If you continue to have trouble logging in click on the forgot password.
  • If you are still having trouble please contact us for help.

Q: How do I post my business to the directory?
A:

 

  1. You must be a Registered User.
  2. After you register, click the "Login" or the "User Login" link.
  3. Enter the Username and Password you used in registration.
  4. Click the "Login" button.
    (You will then be taken to the User Control Panel.)
  5. Click the "Business Directory" icon in the User Control Panel (this will take you to the Current Business Listings page).
  6. Click the "Add a new business listing to the city directory" link.
  7. Complete the details form for your business listing. In the latter part of the details form you will be able to:
  8. choose up to 3 different categories to list your business in.
  9. upload a logo or photo of your business.
  10. choose which package option that you would like (Basic Package, Standard Package or Premium Package).
  11. Depending upon the package option you choose, you may choose additional options for your business listing such as bold your listing, highlight your listing, add an attention grabber icon, or list your products/services and their prices. (Additional cost may apply, refer to the advertising page)
  12. Select your payment option.
  13. Click the "Submit Business" button.
  14. All listings must be approved by administration before display in the directory. Approval usually takes about 24 hours.

Q: How do I post an Event for the Calendar?
A:
  1. Register an account or login to your control panel (Click here to Register/login)
  2. Go directly to the Events Calendar page (Click here to go there)
  3. Click on the month and day the events is to take place.
  4. Include a short title, full description of the event, your email address, and whether this event will repeat and how often.
  5. Press submit button
  6. Then you have the option of uploading an image with your event. Click on the browse button. Find the picture on your computer. Then upload.
  7. Wait for approval which usually takes about 24 hours.

Yes, we encourage the public to contribute articles of interest. To get started just registeror logina free account. After login or registration is complete login to your control panel and click on the articles icon. Then follow the directions from there. All articles must be approved my adminstration before your article is published. Click here for more information about article submission.

A:

Q: How do I submit a Real Estate Listing?
A:

  1. Login or register a free account (Click here to Register)

  2. Choose Real Estate icon in the control panel

  3. Click on "Create a new Listing"

  4. Fill in the all the information about your listing (include adding pictures)

  5. Choose up to 2 categories for your listing

  6. Choose the duration of your listing up to 6 months.

  7. Choose upgrades to your listing to help improve exposure of your listing.

  8. Choose your payment method by paypal (a secure online merchant account that processes your credit card information) or Check/money order via postal mail (Note: that you will not see your listing in the directory until payment is received) in the Payment Option

  9. After you submit your listing an invoice will pop up showing all charges.

  10. All listings must be approved by administration before being displayed in the directory. Usually approval is completed w/in 24 hours.

Q: How do I submit my auto listings?
A:
  1. Login or register an account
  2. Click on "Auto Sales" in the control panel
  3. Click on "Create a new listing" within the page
  4. Fill in the details of your auto listing
  5. Choose up to 3 Categories to file your vehicle under
  6. Upload up to 3 pictures of your vehicle under photos
  7. Choose duration of your listing under duration
  8. Under Payment Options, choose your payment method. "Check/Money order via postal mail"

Jackson Community has the right to deny any submissions without giving reason. Listings may be deleted if not updated in a timely fashion. Jackson Community is not responsible or has anything to do with the transaction. It is up to the buyer/seller to make the proper arrangements for payment and delivery of the product.
