| CROSSROADS CHRISTIAN CENTER |
JacksonBlazer writes, "In the summer of 2004, the Lord gave a vision for a new church, Crossroads Christian Center. The vision the lord gave Tony Jackson for Crossroads Christian Center is to be a church unlike any other church here in Jackson, Michigan; a church that is made up of ethnically diverse people. Unfortunately, Sunday morning remains the most segregated house in America,. said Rev. Tony Jackson. I don’t believe that it has to be that way.
After all, Jesus gave His life that all men, women, boys and girls, regardless of color, gender, natural origin, etc, may enjoy eternal salvation. On April 4, Jacksonian’s of various denominations and cultural backgrounds came together at Daryl’s Downtown to hear the announcement of Crossroads Christian Center. "

Our purpose is to be a multi-cultural Church changing lives with the word of God., said Jackson Foundationally, we desire to be a church like the New Testament church that is recorded in Acts chapter 2. Crossroads will accomplish their purpose by emphasizing five Biblical principles: worshiping, loving, teaching, serving, and sharing.
Worshiping: Our service will be a contemporary service that will appeal to a diverse group of people. At the day of Pentecost the Bible records that there were men from every nation under heaven worshiping God. Peter spoke the Word of God to the multitude and thousands were saved. Loving: We will be a church that demonstrates love towards one another. The early church had great fellowship demonstrated by them meeting in the temple courts and in each other homes. They had sincere hearts and gladness towards one another. Teaching: We will be a church that focuses our teaching and preaching on the Word of God and its ability to transform lives. The Bible records that early church devoted themselves to the apostles. teaching, and the people were in awe of the many miracles that took place. Serving: We will be a church that seeks to serve God by ministering in church and the community at large. The early church was strongly committed to serving others. They even sold their possessions to give to those were in need so that no one would be without. Sharing: The Great Commission will be our greatest priority. The early church was tremendously focused on spreading the Gospel. The Bible says that they were on one accord, and Lord added to the church daily. The ultimate goal of the church, and mature Christians, is bring others to Christ.
Tony Jackson was born in Muskegon, Michigan, and moved to Jackson, Michigan upon his graduation from Western Michigan University in 1990. In May of 1995, Tony accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior, and united with Second Missionary Baptist Church under the pastoral care of Rev. A. P. Williams. He was ordained three years later in March of 2005.
Tony continued to serve as an Associate Minster under the guidance and mentorship of Pastor Williams. During his tenure as an Associate Minister, Tony has served in various capacities within the ministry including teaching the Young Adult Sunday School as well as performing the duties of Sunday School Superintendent and Director of Christian Education. The Lord has given Tony a passion for sharing the gospel with the youth.
